Compiling in modern env.

This library seems to be a perfect solution for my project, i understand you're not pretending to keep updating it.
But i would appreciate if we could get it to compile with recent python/gyp/vstudio

what i tried:
Updated gyp and python, which was fine
But the C++ NAPI module is impossible to compile with anything newer than visualstudio2015, problem is we can't even download vs2015 anymore (and i suck at C/C++)
