Project Overview

We need to update our events section so that it's easier to browse, navigate and explore.

Events Overview Page Requirements

  • Move away from the existing list structure, which is overwhelming and not easy to skim
  • Have a feature section for 1 key event (most recent upcoming)
  • Be able to feature Upcoming / Future events and past events
  • Highlight / flag events as Virtual or in-person
  • Filter by location (New York, Boston, SF, or Virtual)
  • Clearly identify Community Huddles from other events
  • Each event should click through to a detail page.

Events Detail Page Requirements

Hosted Events/ Meetups:

  • Date, time, and description
  • Agenda
  • CTA: RSVP (links out to luma page)
  • Section to showcase hosts/ speakers ; note: speakers are often last minute, we need to have two versions 1 with speakers and 1 version without

Community Huddles:

  • Agenda
  • Section to highlight guest speakers
  • CTA: RSVP (links out to Luma page)

Past Event page - Community Huddle:

  • What we covered: (agenda recap)
  • Watch the recording (recording video embed from youtube)
