To make this publicly accessible:

• Deploy to datum-cloud.github.io/cloudvalid.com
• Add a Datum proxy in front

A few problems:

• GitHub Pages only does one .github.io per organization, so the URL here ended up being https://datum-cloud.github.io/cloudvalid.com/.
• We can't proxy anything except for root domains right now (our Envoy setup doesn't make example.com/path proxy-able)
• The Astro build here doesn't produce an index.html in the root dir, so even the URL above doesn't work right. You have to visit https://datum-cloud.github.io/cloudvalid.com/client/, which loses the styling.

@AriaEdo @ronggur What was your plan for hosting this?

@drewr our proxy product today let's you configure routing rules with URL rewrites that would let you proxy a URL like example.com/path as a separate domain.

Oh then we should just do that. I knew we had tried with another site but didn't know we figured it out.

@ronggur Can you please take this from here? You should be able to use the current deployment. @scotwells Where is an example of how he'll need to configure the proxy?

@drewr what was the issue you were running into? The rules structure in our HTTP Proxy API shares the same options as the gateway API so the rules in this guide should work for datum cloud https://gateway.envoyproxy.io/docs/tasks/traffic/http-urlrewrite/

It wasn't my issue. I think @jacobsmith928 was trying to set up alt-cloud.org. But maybe we figured it out!
