More discussions wanted, do you want to help?

We would like to ask for help with discussions. The Datenstrom community is a place to help each other. Where you can ask and answer questions. Most answers are provided by members, just like you. While every question deserves a chance to be answered, after a while there's an increasingly small chance that an answer will be provided. That's why unanswered questions will be deleted after 365 days. We assume that questions that interest our community will be discussed and answered. Perhaps you are interested in the same thing as others? Perhaps you want to share your knowledge? Perhaps you know the answer to life, the universe and everything? Have a look at unanswered discussions.

It's okay to...

• not know everything
• ask questions
• answer questions
• give good ideas a thumbs up
• upvote interesting discussions
• upvote features you would like to see
• add links to extensions and the latest documentation
• talk about the pro and contra of different alternatives
• investigate bug reports and error messages
• confirm if things are working or broken
• give API examples to copy/paste
• help someone who is in distress
• thank people who helped you

It's good to...

• add a first name to your profile, then people know how to address you
• add a picture to your profile, makes it easier to recognise each other
• have a coffee break with colleagues or friends from time to time

You can be notified of all discussions. Go to the main page of datenstrom/community, log in with your GitHub user account, click on Watch in the top-right corner. Now you receive notifications, can answer questions, investigate bug reports and read the latest announcements. At the heart of open source is the idea that we make better software together.
