Druid operator support for Kubernetes 1.31 and 1.32

According to the official README, the Druid Operator is confirmed to be compatible with Kubernetes versions up to 1.30.1. As Kubernetes continues to evolve, I would like to inquire whether the operator has been tested or is known to be compatible with the latest Kubernetes releases, specifically versions 1.31 and 1.32.

Could the maintainers please confirm if there are any known issues, incompatibilities, or required changes to ensure smooth operation on these newer Kubernetes versions? Understanding this compatibility is crucial for planning upgrades and ensuring stable deployments.

Hi, same issue here.

We need to update to newest Kubernetes version 1.31 to stay in AWS EKS standard support, before end of July 2025 🚨

Is the operator compatible with this version, even if it's not reflected in the docs?

Hi @AdheipSingh, as the support for 1.30.x has ended, we are also looking into upgrading to version 1.31.x.

Is there any way we can help with testing support for newer k8s versions?

we have e2e tests which run on kind. I'll check it out for the latest versions and get back to you.

Successfully tested using e2e tests on Github Actions ✅ both for 1.31.x and newer 1.33.x versions.
