Description
Provide a metadata layer on top of datastores to aid the framework in a wide number of scenarios (metadata driven configuration, job building, communication).
The metadata concept should widely be based on "annotations" - marker objects that describe some aspect of a metadata item (column, table, group of columns etc.)
