unable to send an email @free.fr with 1200px resize #28

Hi,
I have seen a strange problem. When using default reduction size on a picture (1200px), an email sent to recipient@free.fr throught smpt.laposte.net was rejected (using Thunderbird). The error message is very short "L'envoi du message a échoué" (sending failed).
Removing the image from the message, allows it to be sent. And suprisingly, resizing picture to 800px, allows it to be sent.
If the message is sent to another recipient@laposte.net, there is no more problem with 1200px resizing.
My first thought was free.fr seeing a problem in jpeg encoding... but Thunderbird was just communicating with smpt.laposte.net when it gets canceled.
So, where is the problem ? How to debug this ?
