Feature request: a way to disable zoom on mouse click

Firefox dev tools have a tool to measure portion of a page. Let's say I want to measure something on an image. With current behavior it is inconvenient, because zoom resets after click. To use that tool I have to disable addon.

Will be nice to have some way to disable zoom on click. E.g. zoom only works if there is no Shift (or Ctrl) key pressed.

Having a similar issue. If you click and decide not to pan (and therefore unclick) the default zoom toggle happens.
