Confusing installation procedure & failed installation following the guide

It is extremely but extremely to install this system! There are multiple folder locations for installation of different things!, multiple folders to choose without clarification what is the purpose.

After installation of PAI I installed the:

1. kai-hook-system            ← Foundation (no dependencies)
2. kai-history-system         ← Depends on hooks
3. kai-core-install           ← Depends on hooks, history
4. kai-prompting-skill        ← Depends on core-install
5. kai-voice-system           ← Depends on hooks, core-install
6. kai-agents-skill           ← Depends on core-install, optional voice-system
7. kai-art-skill              ← Depends on core-install
8. kai-observability-server   ← Optional, depends on hooks

via Claude code.

Result

I have absolutely no idea like what to do, why it's failing. I'm completely stuck now.

Appreciate your system, but if you want to spread this system among the people, your system, you need to ensure that this installation is like 80% more simple.

I agree that the install is complicated.

As someone who is not very familiar with claude code. I'm having to learn both. Not a problem really. But I'm an engineer so I don't have a problem putting things together, maybe not so much for more casual users.

Having claude install the first pack, is already very tedious. Asking it to install kai-hook-system.md, its like 20+ prompts of running bash scripts. It would have just been faster to run the bash script directly to install several key systems

I will add that, having it done this way, makes sure that the user knows exactly what is going on.

Maybe a separate guide for total beginners would be warranted. This literally walks the user through, "Now open claude with the claude command in your terminal. At least guide the user to install through the first 2 packs.
