It's marked as optional in the heading therefore my DA ignored it. Due this the voice feature doesn't work. I had same issues in the past with v1 where PAI sometimes did not respond as expected.

1. Question: why not using output styles? Is it because of the platform agnostic? Would it be worth to create a output style if CC is used?

2. Question: Subagent stop should trigger a voice command base on the 🎯COMPLETED phrase. But this is not defined in the Agent skill anyway?

On output styles: You're right that Claude Code has built-in output styles. The PAI format predates that feature and is designed to be platform-agnostic (works with Gemini, future tools, etc.). The voice system specifically looks for the 🎯 KAI: line to speak aloud.

On enforcement: The format being marked "optional" is the issue. If you want voice to work reliably, the skill should enforce the format rather than suggest it. We've seen this pattern work well when it's constitutional (mandatory) rather than advisory.

On subagent voice: You're correct - the subagent stop hook looks for 🎯 AGENTNAME: patterns. The Agents skill should include this in its output format requirements. PR #316 (just merged) improves the agent workflow significantly.
