Recently url of my start page has started displaying in my start page making it hard to just type a search/url in it now.

I use FF Nightly..

The cursor appears at the start of the address field, but the url isn't selected. You've no idea how many searches I have done that have the URL of my start page at the end of them 😆

Would it be possible for the URL in the address bar when a start page is opened to be selected by default so that typing would replace it?

I've made a fork of New Tab Extension

It includes fix for this problem
