The "part" items are the ones that are outputs of machines, that make sense to stock up.
"board" = circuit plate, "circuit" = circuit wire.

Additional:
t1 chip = basic chip (used in t1 and t2 machines)
t2 chip = advanced chip (used in t3 and t4 machines)
t3 chip = hi-tech chip (t5 and t6 machines)
T4 chip -- Oh, this is good. I have t7 ore, but no t8 ore or dust. I expected this to give me an error and tell me how much t8 dust I need. Instead, it is trying to make one.

I'm not sure what issue you are reporting here. Is this your general impressions from using it?

The intention was to document something that I found confusing, that might be confusing to others.

The "board" and "circuit" parts map to a different display name (and you mentioned that it's got another name internally in the other issue thread).

The "part" group ... there's no way to auto-produce that group, and that's the group where stocking up on outputs to save time makes sense.

I guess this would be an issue with the docs -- things that could be cleared up there.

You can produce parts just fine. Generally it is chips you would stock up on to save time with other recipes.
