How do I start off?

Know this is the most basic of questions but I really do not know how to start using this.

I have:

• added the config (client id and secret)
• added your example code in readme file within the index of a controller

Getting:

• SageOne Access denied Error

Please forgive if this is not the right place to ask for help. I'm still new to Git and Ruby. Thanks

Hi Matthew,

Sadly, we've not kept this gem up to date. My guess is, assuming you're getting all your keys correct etc. would be the Sage One API has changed. This gem will likely need updating, but unfortunately I don't have any free time in the immediate future to look at it.

I'd recommend you contact Sage One API support to see what they would recommend. You are free to fork this gem if you find the fix, or let me know any details you get back from them. Ideally someone at Sage One could take over this gem from us - we're not actively using it at the minute.

Hi Luke,

Thanks for the response. The closest I got is with PHP and following there dev docs. It was hard enough getting an access token. Now each request needs signing with the client secret and this is where I'm stuck. Sage one appear to be using a mix between oAuth 1 and 2. My college has been trying to contact them. The only response was its so new no ones developed for it yet. My college want to use this in dot net and I'm trying to work around by creating a web service for them.
