Accessibility of mouse events in grid windows

For mouse events in grid windows, I think there isn't anything that would indicate that text can be 'clicked'. Is it totally inaccessible for screen readers?

Is there an ARIA role that could be assigned to the window as a whole?
Should any text in the window be wrapped in invisible `<a>`s?
