[BUG][NO ERRR] Selections don't narrow search down (email 3a)

Describe the bug
View assignments and View class:
When I select the chapter, sometimes it does not narrow the search down depending on what you select to narrow it down.

Environment
production and staging

To Reproduce
View assignments & view Class
For example, select NONE on chapters and see how many assignments you see. Then select one of the newer assignments at the bottom and see this does not reduce the number of assignments. If you select ‘2 Kinematics’, then the number of assignments reduce and the other chapters will work kind of.

Expected behavior
The chapter should narrow the search down to just the assignments in that chapter.

Additional context
It is hard to find assignments I am working on or ones I want to modify, so this is much more important this year as I will be using more assignments than creating them.

'view class is better, but there are a few assignments that always show up even though they have a chapter assigned to them such as AP 4.1

View assignments is not better though
