Is there a diagnostic shown when attempting indexing?

From a "cmd" window, please do this:
C:/Program Files/CrossWire/Xiphos/bin/mkfastmod.exe NET
This should have the same effect but may give better diagnostics than what can be captured within Xiphos.

I've just experimented with this, and I find that the Windows build indeed has a problem, specific to locked modules only. Unlocked modules will index fine.
Looking into it.

For now, you can either do unindexed searches ("multi-word" in Adv.Search window), or you can install the alternate unlocked NET (and NETnote) in Xiphos repo. Sidebar search will automatically pick indexed search if the index is available, or will fall back to multi-word mode if not.

Module configurations are not specific to Xiphos; they are found under C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Sword\mods.d.
