Description
In the BSB module (version 1.7.1, the latest), 1 Chronicles 4:4 as rendered by SWORD 1.9.0 (in Xiphos) looks like this:
Penuel was the father*n2 of Gedor, and Ezer was the father of Hushah.
...where the "*n2" indicates the second footnote of the chapter.
As rendered by JSword (in BibleDesktop 1.6, but also in AndBible 5.0.910), it looks like this:
Penuel was the fatherOr the founder; also in verses 5, 12, 14, 17, 18, and possibly elsewhere of Gedor, and Ezer was the father of Hushah.
That is, the contents of the footnote is rendered inline with the verse text. Similar glitches occur in verses 3 and 7, but the footnotes in verse 9 and following all seem to be working.
The markup in that area is pretty weird (verses interleaved with list items), and I'm the maintainer of the BSB module so if the problem really is that the OSIS markup is broken then I'm open to fixing it there. However, the fact that SWORD renders what I expect, and that JSword renders what I expect elsewhere, makes me suspect that JSword is getting confused.
