Conflict with SmartDevice plugin (incompatibility?)

I installed the plugin in anticipation of my xteink4 arriving. With the plugin installed, when I connect from KOReader on my Kindle, the device is automatically interpreted as a Crosspoint Reader device and cannot fully connect via the SmartDevice plugin. Disabling the crosspoint plugin fixes the issue.

I'm using plugin version 0.1.1 with calibre 9.4.0 on archlinux (6.18.13-arch1-1)

Have done some more testing, and it may not be a compatibility problem between the two plugins. Whenever I open calibre and start the wireless device, a CrossPoint Reader device is found and connected to (in the sense that a Device is shown in the top toolbar). This device is shown even when no compatible device (i.e., my Kindle running KOReader or my Xteink X4 running CrossPoint Reader) is active and connected to the same network.

Disabling the CrossPoint calibre plugin resolves the issue with this apparent "phantom" device.

Same issue observed.
I have another reader which I update books on, via USB.
Only way I have found to switch between the crosspoint connection and USD, is to:

1. Turn off wireless device connection in Caliber
2. disable and enable the crosspoint plugin
3. -> reboot Calibre -> do my thing with thre wired connection
4. Only then I enable wireless connection in calibre, turn on calibre connection on Xteink X4 -> transfer books

Windows 10, Calibre 9.4, Xteink on Crosspont 1.1.1, plugin 0.1.1
