Does this search cluster scope or only namespace scope?

Hello,

Bearing in mind I moved to Crossplane v2 my managed resources are now in namespace, when I use function-extra-resources and ask to look for specific label, will it search only in namespace where managed resource is or also will look at cluster scope?

I came here looking for the answer to this too - there was a PR earlier this year that added support for namespaces:

Based on the changes, I'm assuming the original example in the README will look for cluster-scoped resources and this example would look for namespace-scoped resources?

Could someone update the README to document how this works? I'm pretty sure the only way you can discover this feature exists at the moment is by looking at the commit history and reading the code.

I also find the documentation extremely lacking. New feature PRs should be accompanied with at least something documenting its usage.

I think your assumption on usage is correct from looking at the code. Though this is practically useless in the context of Crossplane V2 because what you really want is to scope the extra resource search to the same namespace as the XR which is a dynamic value, not a string literal like what was implemented.
