Like we talked:

We need:

• Instructions on how to easily set up remote syslog-ng, with client SSL auth using stunel. Instructions on how to set both parties. Server party here will be an EC2 micro instance.
• Log IP everytime it changes into syslog.
• chown and chmod /dev/ttyUSB* unplugging usb and rebooting system. Use udev maybe: KERNEL=="tty[A-Z]|pppox|ircomm_|noz_", GROUP="uucp", MODE="0666" or use udisk to mount device.
• server ssh instructions on how to log into specific user & password. (pretty simple stuff)
• check initialization scripts for each daemon (C and Java), and maybe a watchdog bash script.
