It cannot be open source without a license and the copyright still belongs to you so I would need your written permission or a license. Github could help you pick a license.

I want to have an MIT license but the issue is the Kung Fu Master sprites, which has a very dubious origin, as we don't even know for sure if the original copyright holders are the same team that claims to have made MUGEN today. There's like, a 0.0005% chance that they're going to act on it, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. The plan is to add a license once an original sprite set for a default character is created, which would also be open domain, though I'm not really good enough at art or modelling to do that yet.
Anyways, you and anyone else can do whatever they want with the content outside of the Graphics2 folder.
