Redis server works in development but not on Heroku

Hi! I've used the dashboard locally, but when deploying to Heroku, the production redis server doesn't work and sessions aren't being created. Can you help?

It looks like a session isn't properly getting created, because when I log in I get redirected to the home screen. It happened before I started the redis server in development but I have a redis instance on Heroku (Heroku Redis) so I'm not sure what's happening @timcreative.
