Add Video Button to CKEditor

There seems to be no way to add a video to CK Editor. I want it to work exactly like the image button, except we do video. There is a media button that let's you paste a URL, and if I try a roundabout way of putting a video in there, it doesn't support video. By video I mean .mp4 file. The video should let us configure some basic settings ideally: looping, muted, controls, poster, fullscreen, etc.

Why not use a nested entry for that?

I dragged the + sign into the control bar and nothing showed up... so I thought it was broken.

You have to create an entry type for the video with settings etc. Then you should go to your CKEditor field and add this entry type to the list of available entry types. And you should be set 🙂
