How do I change the column type in my DB when running ckeditor/convert?

I've found that when I try to run the convert service, my columns are being changed to VARCHAR with a length of 255, which is causing issues when I have redactor fields that far exceed this.

Is there a config setting I can set to make sure that the type is TEXT?

I am running Craft CMS 4.14.11.1 with Ckeditor 3.11.1
