Milestone item should be indented (when in a group) #1905

Hi! The indentation as you suggest was actually part of the design for all the betas (or most of anyway) I guess this is widely subjective and also depends on how you are leveraging milestones. I will leave this open so user can chime in but for now my opinion is that the annoyance the change would cause is not being outweighed by any benefits I can see at this time. |

(Full transparency: I'm user Impossible Works. I'm just too lazy to log out/back in! LOL) Perhaps another way to think about this is how I (some others must as well) need an event type that allows for non-time cues. I for one am using OnTime for much more than a timer app, as I put in all my cues into this and reference the cuesheet as a full cue stack. Here's where it gets tricky. Take, for example a series of cues:
John has 30 minutes (which includes the voiceover and the video play), so I use "Milestone" as non-timed cues. It doesn't cut into John's time and it also makes it easy to link time to the next real event. So I guess, I don't use "Milestone" as intended, but do have a strong need to add in non-timed cues. So. If others use true "milestones" for something, perhaps we have yet another event type called "non-timed event" or whatever makes sense. That way we can add in cues that need to happen in the middle of an event. Make sense? |

Hi there.
In the editor screen, I would love to request the "Milestone" item to be indented/left aligned with all the events within a Group.
Currently it sticks out and is aligned with the group
Thanks!
