Feature request: Ambient light

I haven't found something similar to ambient ligth (https://github.com/WesselKroos/youtube-ambilight) for Nebula, this can be very usefull for UW screen.
Basically the idea is to remove the black bar of the screen by adding some blurred color similar to the one close to the border of the video

I planned to do a bit for this, but unfortunately, I don't really have time right now, even less than expected. So this will take a while

Unfortunately, it's not looking like I have much time for the foreseeable future. I took a look at the mentioned addon, and this is not a simple feature, and I don't currently have the time to invest in this, so this will be on hold for now. When I get to it, I plan to turn this into a companion addon, due to the complexity involved, and it doesn't really fit into the goal of this extension. If you (or anyone else) want to start an implementation, feel free, but please start a discussion to discuss the design/architecture.

Not super related to this Issue, but out of interest, how does that extension differ from the native feature built in to YouTube now?

Sorry, I don't think I will really get to this. And since I wouldn't use this feature, it's not a priority for me. If you (or someone else) is interested, feel free to send a PR, but don't expect anything anytime soon
