Windows: message dialog pops behind main window, can't be activated

One way to recreate this is importing images.  After the process succeeds, the main window is hidden.  When reactivated, nothing in the main window responds.  This is because the image import success modal message dialog has popped behind the main window.  AFAICT there is no way to activate it so it can be closed.  Must force-quit Correlator.
