Request to include author and year in LICENSE file and/or source headers

Hi,

Would it be possible to include the name of the author and the year in the LICENSE file and/or at the top of the Go source files?

This would help us package this library for the Debian operating system. As part of our packaging policy, we are required to document the copyright holder (author) and, if possible, the year of copyright.

Adding this information will make it easier for downstream users and distributions to comply with licensing requirements.
