Request: ICS Calendar Provider Support

From what I have seen the mobile app only supports apple calendar and google calendar for each OS respectively. Would it be in the scope to add this as would make a big difference making calendar work for myself and i'm sure others that use other calendar providers. e.g. teams calendar or proton calendar.

to clarify - do you mean that the app should take a URL to an ics file, and poll that at some cadence, parse the result, display entries?

I am on android I can understand the lack of need for this feature on ios. Where the include apple calendar is virtually the only pick. But for me in my case I run a version of android where I don't have google calendar installed.

Yes just like how external calendars are added to a calendar app in read only fasion. I understand this maybe a capability through a pebble app adding the events to timeline. It would be better if it would be possible through the app built-in method that pre-exists.

It would also be good other people who want to add other calendars say they could export the ics url for a work calendar.
