Problem

I want to be able to build watchfaces and apps using React similar to React Native. I assume we would need to write a custom react renderer and whatnot and we would need a javascript runtime to be available.

I would love to contribute to that but I must say I have never done that and would appreciate guidance on the Pebble side of things. I feel pretty self sufficient on the React side of things and writing a custom renderer

If you want it to be like React Native, then there wouldn't need to be a javascript runtime. We could write a transpilation layer from something like Lit to Pebble's existing UI components.
