Description
System:
Windows 11 Pro 22H2, Windows 11 Pro 23H2, Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (This issue exist in all versions mentioned here)
Board/Device:
- Device: Lenovo 500e Yoga Gen 4 (Intel N100)
- Original chrome: Nissa
- Board name: PUJJO
Steps to reproduce:
- Follow the guide until Windows Installation (via usb)
- After it restart after Windows Installation, it will get
Booting from 'Windows Boot Manager' failed: verify it contains a 64-bit UEFI OS(Normally this step should go into OOBE). This is the first issue. - Use PE or repairing mode for
bcdboot C:\Windows /s E: /f UEFI// Where E: is the EFI portion - This make sure Windows Boot Manager can boot for once, after rebooting, step 3 is required again
- Go through OOBE normally, until entering normal system
- Install drivers (VC_redist was installed first), and will realise touchpad and touchscreen has no effects (keyboard remapping only has effect after rebooting, Im assuming this is normal?)
Additional notes:
- Tried with multiple versions of drivers, non of them worked.
- Drivers other than touchpad, touchscreen, and paid drives (not tested) are functioning normally
- Tried using
cd; curl -LOk mrchromebox.tech/firmware-util.sh && sudo bash firmware-util.shto update UEFI, but the Windows Boot Manager Un-bootable issue still persist.
