Current status?

Hi there!

As a fellow 3d-printerer / software engineer I was thrilled when you said you where planning this. Did you ever get to write code at all? (I mean I know you guys are quite busy with a lot)

I still feel this could be a project with decent interest and contributions from the community (myself included) so that's why I'm pinging you.
