@Armin0G The typical way to do this is to use seed statements that are flagged as "metadata". You just need to phrase one or more statements such that "agree" "disagree" are appropriate responses, eg "I am a student", "I am a staff member", etc. |

Hey all,
I’m preparing to use Pol.is for a university congress day at our institute. Our aim is to gather insights from both students and staff to enhance internal networking and a sense of belonging.
To analyze responses by group, I’m looking for a method to assign participants to predefined groups (e.g., “students” and “staff”) before they begin the survey. Ideally, this would involve using distinct URLs or parameters, allowing us to examine group-specific patterns in the results.
Is there a supported way to implement this in Pol.is? If not, are there recommended workarounds or best practices for achieving this kind of group-based analysis?
Thank you for your guidance!
Best regards,
Armin
