Luma3DS boot to akmenu-next?

Would it be possible to make a boot.firm which goes straight to akmenu, or is there some other way to accomplish this? 

I'm on a modded 3ds with no flash cart, so I guess the boot.firm for those won't work, I'm afraid to try anyway.
