Adding rooms I've excluded

A room that I've excluded because I don't have access to it keeps getting added onto meetings and therefore rejected. How do I stop this?

Hey @lisamixsell, I'm guessing you are excluding rooms using the "Name exclude (regex)" text input? Can you share what you put in there? I can help you examine why it's not working as intended.

Also, thank you for flagging this issue! I will work on an enhancement feature that detect rooms that keep on rejecting a user and auto exclude them

The full title of the room name is "SFO | 1455 Market - 14th Stanford Stadium (11 • VC) (R)" so that's what I typed in the "Name exclude" section.

Hey Lisa @lisamixsell, the "Name exclude" section uses regex behind the scene. Though very powerful and flexible, it's not the most straightforward tool to understand. I'm actually surprised by putting in SFO | 1455 Market - 14th Stanford Stadium (11 • VC) (R) GMate was able to book room for you at all.

I'm working on a more user friendly version of "Name exclude" and in the meantime can you try to put in Stanford Stadium instead? I will update the thread once I get a proper fix out. Let me know if the short-term workaround actually works for you.

@lisamixsell Just want to follow up on the room filter issue. I'm excited to tell you that we've just released a new version with plain text room filters. With that you can put in SFO | 1455 Market - 14th Stanford Stadium (11 • VC) (R) or Stanford Stadium they will both work.
