Enhancement: Recurring Meeting notifications

A SINGLE email that has an aggregated list of all the meeting room matches (and/or missing) set for recurring meeting is preferred over individual instance notifications (destroys your inbox instantly)

Hey Del, thanks for reporting! And yes I agree that's super annoying and currently I don't have a great way of fixing it. But I'm looking into this issue and hopefully can close it out soon.

Wanna get a bit more info to help me debugging. Were you the creator of that recurring meeting or was that Shirley or someone else? And did you trigger the GMate recurring room search or someone else did?

Sure, yes for clarification I was not the original creator but had edit control and had been the one to go into the meeting to add room(s) as we recently switched buildings and I wanted to find new room assignments here and thought this would be the perfect use case test for this tool. I was the one to go in and edit the recurring meeting and set it up to look for rooms and got an IM later in the day with a “WHAT DID YOU DO?!?” note (from Shirley) with that inbox screenshot. Maybe there’s an option to indicate (if possible) who notices get sent to? I’m thinking in the instance where an Admin manages an Exec’s calendar who the emails would go to - I strongly believe an Admin will tell you that it should go to them not the Exec. I’m not sure this tool is as super useful for a one time meeting as we already see a filtered list of only available rooms, but *VERY useful *(despite the email onslaught; now that I know I can always set an inbox filter to redirect them) *for recurring meetings* as it was always just a shot in the dark before to pick a room that was available for the first instance and then just wait to see which future dates the room declines then go back and treat each failure as an exception and manually fix. If you ever have questions or ideas feel free to bounce them off me - I’ve been doing UX Research for (mostly) internal IT tools for enterprise companies for 20yrs now 😳
