Phase

1.0: Excellence Gate

Purpose

Final validation that prompt management is excellent before expanding to other workflows (runs, queues, datasets). This is the "go/no-go" decision point.

Scope

1. SME Validation Sessions

Conduct at least 3 validation sessions:

• SME attempts prompt engineering workflow without coaching
• Document friction points
• Measure time-to-task
• Collect qualitative feedback

2. Excellence Checklist

All must be checked before expanding:

• SME completes prompt workshop workflow without coaching
• Claude correctly parses all prompt CLI outputs
• Error recovery is smooth and guided
• Time-to-task < 2 minutes for common operations
• QA methodology documented and proven
• CLI UX patterns documented as guidelines
• At least 3 SME validation sessions completed

3. Expansion Decision

Based on results:

• GO: Create phase 2 issues for runs/queues/datasets
• ITERATE: Return to 0.4 with specific improvements
• PAUSE: Wait for CLI improvements from ls-prompt-ux

4. Retrospective

Document:

• What worked well
• What needs improvement
• Lessons for next workflow expansion

Deliverables

• 3+ SME validation session reports
• Excellence checklist assessment
• GO/ITERATE/PAUSE decision with rationale
• Retrospective document

Dependencies

• 685.4-iteration Iterate on CLI and plugin based on testing feedback #689 (iteration) addresses known issues
• ls-prompt-ux (🔧 build: update Claude Code plugin configuration #16) CLI improvements

Success Criteria

• Clear GO/ITERATE/PAUSE decision made
• If GO: Phase 2 scope defined
• Retrospective informs future development
