Interactive buttons seem broken with new Youtube UI update

On firefox the video is paused and only shows the thumbnail upon the page loading. The speed buttons seem to work fine. Once you press play the buttons disappear. You can still use the bound hotkeys to change speed. This may just be an issues with a single page though as other videos seem to work with the new ui.
