Hi,
Can't access/download libzeep from cmbi, required for .configure
pulled, compiled, installed Maarten's libzeep from github
but still .. configure doesn't find it..

Where is libzeep installed? I see the configure script normally checks /usr/local/lib/.
If libzeep is not installed there, then you could try adding the path to libzeep to the config file.

cmake -S . -B build -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
cmake --build build
ctest --test-dir build
cmake --install build

I'll have a look at what in the various local/lib this evening
but I would say "just as usual"

Try playing around with the --prefix argument of the configure script. If you're running in linux, your libzeep is probably installed in $HOME/.local/lib. Also I don't think MRS will work with the latest version of libzeep. MRS is quite old and requires libzeep 4.

then suggests downloading it from a disappeared website

Checking for libzeep...libzeep is not installed, either install the package libzeep-dev
or download libzeep from ftp://ftp.cmbi.ru.nl/pub/software/libzeep

since cmbi migrated to umc, I'm trying to find it in
https://www.radboudumc.nl/
but without success..

Is there any spot where libzeep, in its accepted version is available ?

I've made a notification in the configure script that libzeep 4.0 is required and created the following issue:
mhekkel/libzeep#32

I'm also looking for a way to share the libzeep 4.0 directly over ftp.

The tag v4.0.0 has been created on libzeep. That should help.

@ugadal I also just shared the libzeep package that I used to compile mrs.
It's at ftp.cmbi.umcn.nl/pub/software/libzeep-4.0.0.tar.xz
