Code Vein II works with the generic UE addon if you upgrade R10G10B10A2_UNORM to output size, without extra ini tweaks. Why the custom build? [EDIT] Going by the commit history, it tries to fix some UI bugs (that sound like a driver issue, because I haven't seen anything weird in any menus), and applies custom LUT. |

Code Vein 2 RenoDX HDR Mod
Instructions:
We need to setup a few ini cvars in order for the mod to work.
Go to
%localappdata%\CodeVein2\Saved\Config\Windows\Create a new text file, and name it
Engine.iniOpen the file, and paste the below code into it:
Save the file and close it
Right click Engine.ini, click properties, check "Read-Only", and then "Apply" -> This is the most important step <-
Example of a properly setup Engine.ini:

Now that we're done with setup, we can download and install the mod!
Download and install Reshade with Addon support : Download Here
Download the RenoDX mod Download Mod
Place
renodx-codevein2.addon64in\steamapps\common\CodeVein2\CodeVein2\Binaries\Win64-> the folder with
CodeVein2-Win64-Shipping.exe. I only own the game on steam, so I cant speak for other platformsEnjoy the game!

Notes:
On some platforms if you have reshade effects installed the game can randomly crash. If you're running into this issue, open
reshade.iniand delete two lines. One that starts withEffectSearchPaths, another that starts withTextureSearchPathsIf a later area does not work, please contact me on the RenoDX Discord,
