Script doesn't impact fan speed and outputs "Speed is now at: 163" no matter the real speed

Hi @clopez,

I've been trying to get the script working on a dell XPS 13 (XPS 9315) but to no avail.

For reference, usage of Wer-Wolf fork of i8kutils manages to control the fan.
However on DellFan, no matter the input and the real fanspeed (monitored via sensors), the script doesn't change the fanspeed (even with bios control disabled) and always returns :

Setting speed to: [whatever was requested]
Speed is now at: 163

Any idea on how to fix ?

In particular, I'm interested in using the probing function to find additional codes to have a finer control of the fan speed.

Same issue here. set speed is not working and get speed always returns 163.
