cli_history_cb question

Hello Olof and team,
Have a question regarding cli_history_cb.
Lets say we have "ping" command defined in clispec and user enter "pin 192.168.1.1".
Currently we retrieve cmd as-is history function.
Is there any way to obtain "auto-completed" cmd in cli history function? (pin 192.168.1.1 -> ping 192.168.1.1).

I also noticed that if a command fails (ie syntax error) it is not in the history either. I think one wants that?

Actually that is not the same what I ment.
We are looking to use cli_history_cb not only for command history handling, but also for tacplus command authorization and accounting. As this cb is only one place we found that can intercept each command entered by user.
And the problem is that within cb we obtain command entered "as-is" while the remote tacplus server is expecting a command in full compliance with the cli specification.

for examle entered cmd "sh int brief" -> server expectations "show interface brief"
