XML unexpected EOF

I am using version 2.7.0 and am having the exact same problem as this person did here: #63, i.e., NewMapXMLReader() is returning unexpected EOF because the body it is reading does not contain a newline.

As mentioned in the README, this repo is no longer supported, and right now I don't have the time to change it and fully regression test it. However, try the following in your copy of the repo.

Change line 418 (I'm referring to the line numbers of the current GitHub repo you can view online) from

 return nil, err

to

 if t != nil {
      return nil, err
 }
