Description
The single quotation mark (present on the NE of the E key on the english keyboard) defaults to alter the previously typed letter to its accented counterpart.
e -> é
o -> ó
s -> ś
This makes conjunctions and possessives tricky to type:
doesn't is mistyped as doesńt
Patrick's is mistyped as Patricḱs
The only workaround I've found is to type an empty space before placing an apostrophe.
doesn 't -> doesn't
(the space after the n will be combined with the apostrophe after the apostrophe is typed.)
On the English messageease keyboard, the accent mark on the NE of the N key would alter the preceeding characters to their accented counterparts, the E key would not.
