[Feature Idea]: Multi User editing (maybe impossible)

First up I know this idea is easy to name and very difficult if not impossible to implement, I know that but I believe it would be pretty cool.

I often write books with friends and there is always the problem of who actually types in the book and needs to share their screen and who is just "spectating". So the ability to edit books together and see the other person in the book editing UI like in a shared word document would be really great. But there is the problem that this is not even slightly close to the vanilla functionality and I don't know if the server would need to have the mod installed for that feature to start working. Maybe this could tie in to option of #23 .

I can totally understand if this is too far fetched, I just want to get the pitch out there.

Oh I definitely like that idea! Though it's out of scope for Scribble, as that would need a server component for sure. But as a separate mod, I could definitely see like a "Scribble Together" add-on (which, thinking about it, honestly could even just be built-in to Scribble if it's installed server side, but just be optional). I'll leave this open to think about it.

Some thoughts for if I do want to implement this: This would realistically only work on lecterns, as two players can't right click the same item. The vanilla behaviour of lecterns syncs the page of the book you're looking at, which also controls the redstone strength with comparators. If multiple people are editing a book, you probably want to be able to edit different pages, so that would be something to solve.

Just some thoughts about how to solve the question regarding the signal strength in lecterns.

The first thought that came to use just the first person that enters the book as the main person, but then I noticed that this information is difficult to convey to the user on who is this controlling person.

The second thought I had was to use the highest page number open. Think of it like in vanilla if you have multiple signal strengths inputting into the same block it would only show the highest one. So person on the highest page number overrides with his signal strength the other persons in the book, this as an added benefit would make contraptions where you flip through a book to activate things still work perfectly, even when using them with a group.
