Function 'query_dns' in cmdeploy not working

• chatmail/relay version: tag 1.7.0

Expected behavior

What did you try to achieve?

I tried to upgrade my chatmail server from release 1.6.0 to 1.7.0

$ ./scripts/cmdeploy run
..should do its work...

Actual behavior

What happened instead?

$ ./scripts/cmdeploy run
[ssh] login to chatd.de
Collecting initial DNS settings............
Missing A and/or AAAA DNS records for chatd.de!

These DNS record are existing! But my DNS hosting provider has new restrictions on the hidden dns master. It ist not possible to get answers from any external ip address. Only the secondaries are able to query the master.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. You may test the dns_query function for the domain chatd.de

have you tried cmdeploy run --skip-dns-check? As long as Let's Encrypt resolves your DNS correctly it should be fine.

I see a chatmail rely up on this hostname, hopefully you were able to resolve this problem @phormanns ?
