Contributing to Groot

We welcome contributions to Groot! Please follow the steps below to contribute to Groot.

Contribution Workflow

  1. Fork the Repository: Create your own copy of the repository by clicking the "Fork" button.

  2. Clone Your Fork:

    git clone <YOUR_FORK_REPO_PATH>
    git remote add upstream https://github.com/NVIDIA/Isaac-GR00T.git
  3. Create a Branch:

    git checkout -b feature/your-feature-name
  4. Make Changes:

    • Implement your changes
  5. Keep Your Fork Updated:

    git fetch upstream
    git merge upstream/main
  6. Create a Pull/Merge Request:

    • Push your changes to your fork
    • Create a pull/merge request from your branch to the main repository
    • Provide a clear description of your changes
  7. Address Review Feedback: Make any requested changes and update your pull request.

Following these steps helps maintain code quality and ensures a smooth contribution process.
