Opening links from Outlook #17

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Outlook sending links like file:///
Extension cannot open links like file:///c:\localhost.txt
For example I received in Gmail (over Google Chrome) links from Outlook
V:\Orant8\BIN\bbed80.exe (V: is mapped network drive)
I cannot open this link. In the source message I see full path to file
V:\Orant8\BIN\bbed80.exe
<file:///\\NASRU00311001\Appli\Orant8\BIN\bbed80.exe>
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Could you make improve to opening links from Outlook?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Google Chrome, Win7
