Where do I change the setting for SITE_TITLE? the word 'Respect' should be written as 'RESPECT!'. The name of the initiative is the 100% RESPECT! Campaign

The SITE_TITLE and SITE_TAGLINE have special status because they can be changed for staging sites etc. Thus they are kept as variables in production.py for the production (live) site.

You don't have to use this capability if you want fancy formatting etc. You can edit the base template and make the text/format/presentation whatever you like.

The base template is a good place to look when trying to work out what is being displayed. If working locally, the django-debug-toolbar can display a full list of the templates being used to display any particular page. Most start with the base template.

Thanks, Paul. I did indeed check the 'base template', but couldn't determine from there where 'SITE_TITLE' was being set.

I changed production.py and pulled the changes on the server. I then ran 'collectstatic'. The rendering of the site title, however, doesn't appear to have changes (in the navigation bar). Is this a different setting for this element?

From Chrome's 'inspect element' function, I see the HTML is:

<a class="navbar-brand" href="/">The 100% Respect Campaign</a>

... so is this a setting specific to how you built the nav bar? In base.html it looks like it's coming from SITE_TITLE:

When you update the site you also need to restart the process using 'sudo webcore_production restart' or 'sudo webcore_staging restart' as appropriate.

Until you do that, for optimisation, gunicorn only launches new processes that will include your changes if the server load demands it.
