Grappelli admin presentation changed

Having enabled the model translation and set it up, the admin presentation has changed from:

to:

The url change might have something to do with this.

I experienced this with an accidental mouse click once before; apparently one can toggle to show/hide the side panel. My view hasn't changed on login. You can just click on the left border of your browser to revert to original view.

That would be great. I've tried clicking everywhere to no avail.
I have not deployed the site (although the branch is here if you want to try it locally).

I'll create staging.crossculturalconsult.com and deploy it there shortly.
